Child Vaccination in Puppalguda - Tiny Totz Kids Clinic

Child vaccination in Puppalguda, Hyderabad - Tiny Totz Kids Clinic

Keeping a child's vaccinations on time is one of the simplest, highest-impact things a parent can do - and one of the easiest to lose track of between feeds, sleep regressions and work. At Tiny Totz Kids Clinic in Puppalguda, Dr. Shilpa Reddy T (MBBS, DNB Pediatrics, IDPCCM) runs an evening immunisation practice built around exactly that: the same doctor at every visit, a printed schedule you can plan around, and enough time to answer the questions parents actually have before a shot goes in.

The clinic follows the IAP (Indian Academy of Pediatrics) ACVIP schedule, which includes every vaccine in the Government of India and WHO Universal Immunization Programme and adds the recommended optional vaccines on top. Families come from across the Puppalguda - Manikonda stretch, as well as Lanco Hills, Khajaguda, Narsingi, Kokapet and the Financial District.

The IAP immunisation schedule, by age

Below is the standard IAP schedule Dr. Reddy works from. Exact dose timing is confirmed for your child at each visit, and a catch-up plan is made if you are starting late.

Schedule shown is the IAP ACVIP recommendation and is for general guidance only - it is not a substitute for a consultation. Your child's exact plan is confirmed with Dr. Reddy.

IAP schedule vs the government schedule

The Government of India schedule (aligned with WHO's Universal Immunization Programme) covers the essential vaccines free of cost - BCG, OPV, Pentavalent, Rotavirus, PCV, MR/MMR, and boosters. The IAP schedule includes all of these and additionally recommends vaccines such as Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Varicella (chickenpox) and HPV. At the first visit Dr. Reddy walks you through which vaccines are essential and which are optional, so you are choosing with a clear picture rather than a leaflet.

What to expect at a vaccination visit

  • Every visit is with Dr. Reddy directly - DNB Pediatrics, IDPCCM (Pediatric Intensivist) - not a rotating roster.
  • All vaccines are stored under a maintained cold chain and checked before administration.
  • Each dose is recorded on a vaccination card with the date given and the next dose due - the record schools ask for at admission.
  • If your child is behind, a personalised catch-up schedule is worked out - late almost never means starting over.
  • Time to talk through common post-vaccination reactions (mild fever, soreness) and when they are worth a call.

Care available

  • Full IAP infant, toddler and adolescent immunisation schedules.
  • Catch-up vaccination for late or interrupted schedules.
  • Annual influenza and seasonal vaccination.
  • HPV vaccination for adolescents.
  • Pre-vaccination assessment for premature and high-risk babies.
